The under deck ceiling system is made up of individual ceiling panels and
integrated gutters that both collect water from the system and also are the
support members for the ceiling.
Safety for your deck is our priority: NO PART OF THIS SYSTEM ATTACHES TO THE
UNDERSIDE OF THE DECK. We maintain a 4 inch to 7 inch space between the bottom
of the deck and the top of our ceiling. This assures that this product will not
cause any harm to the deck above.
No Water comes through the ceiling: The Undercover System's panels are self
sealing. Mitered joints and downspout connections are sealed with urethane caulk
to create the seals in the joint areas. The Gutter/support system is sealed to
the structure with silicone caulk.
Only the best materials are used: The ceiling system is beautiful and long
lasting. The ceiling panels are made from strong 24 gauge G-90 steel, which is
galvanized and painted on both sides for years of good looks and weather
protection. All the wood we use is Pressure Treated and we use galvanized
fasteners for weather protection and strength. Downspouts drain away the water
and are provided based on square footage and potential for debris entering
system.
Easy maintenance: The ceiling surface can be cleaned with mild soap and water as
needed. Any debris can be cleared from inside the ceiling by raising a panel
over the downspout and removing debris around the downspout connection. Gutter
can then be rinsed with water to remove any remaining debris.
